There are a lot many posts across the internet that talks about the top 10 beautiful girls in the world, or like top 10 beautiful women of all times and things like that and there are similar posts for men as well. Now it was a fun thing to know who the most beautiful people in the world are, but if I were to make a list like that none of those people would have ever made on my list, it’s not that they are not beautiful but lists like that could never be true. And the reason behind it is the fact that in all the articles that I’ve read all those people who are labelled as the most beautiful people in the world are celebrities and to be honest, I have seen more beautiful people who are not celebrities and so would you have. And even if we see beauty as a subjective matter, it varies from person to person. That is to say no to people who have the same definition of beauty. A person whom I find beautiful might or might not be beautiful for someone else.
However, It is important to point out here that beauty is not just facial features and most of us regard beauty with facial features, but the universal truth is that our looks fade as we grow old and we will not always be the same forever. From young boys and girls, we grew to be attractive and beautiful teenagers, a few years down the line we will all be grown men and women and shortly after we will be in our 60s, the energy the looks the attractiveness that we once had will all be gone. We will be judged more by the strength of our character rather than by the way we look, our knowledge, our experiences and the impact that we have created in the world will be everything that will matter.
I guess having a list of the top 10 prettiest girls and stuff like that is not just limited to the internet because there are a lot of similar things happening in the schools and the colleges, it’s been more of a tendency lately to rate and judge people by the way they look instead of having a clean and a safe environment, I have talked to many a people who have been the victim of such a list, it not only impacted their self-esteem but it is fatal as a society. 13 reasons why ( a tv series) is one such example but it’s not the only one. I guess most of the people reading this would also have faced something similar in their lives like this, let it be them on the list or not. Most of the people reading this might also be the ones who would be indulged in making lists like that.,
The thing with beauty is that it’s not a fixed ideal it changes from person to person as I said earlier. Beauty is not just something that is based on the way you look or the way you act or how popular you are. Life is not about being the most popular person in the school or your locality, it’s more about finding yourself, it’s more about knowing who you are and what you like doing, it’s about finding your purpose, it’s about being happy and making sure that the people around you are happy and amazing. I have seen a lot many people who became completely different person just because they wanted to be on such lists. Not seeing themselves on that lists make them insecure and they end up losing their true selves.
This is for all those people who think that they are not good enough to be on that list, see the thing is life is not easier even for those people who make upon such list, such boys and girls are kind of being objectified, and it sucks! The reality however is that we all are beautiful we all are unique in our own ways and the beauty that we are talking about is just an alien factor. The real beauty is not your looks, it’s not how you dress or how much popular you are among people. The real beauty lies in believing in what you are, the real beauty is understanding yourself, it’s about finding your purpose, it’s not about being mean or making fun of people it’s all about being respectful, making people around you feel good about themselves, it’s about being happy. It’s about having a purpose in life.
So the next time if someone tells you that you are not beautiful enough or someone passes a list, ignore it, it’s not something that defines you, you be true to yourself, do what you enjoy doing, because you only get to live once and wasting your time thinking about what other people think is not worth it. Just look at it logically, you have about 70 years to live which turns out to be 70*12, which turns out to be 840 months. So remember that you just have 840 months to live and are you okay with wasting your months and years thinking about what other people think about you or are you gonna do what you want to do, are you gonna waste it shaming, bullying and talking about others or are you gonna use it by doing something that would make you happy. The choice is yours. And remember that if someone says you are not good enough or you do not fit their standard of beauty, just ignore them because you are the prettiest girl in the world. If it does not fit their standard it will surely fit someone else but even that’s not important, the only standard of beauty that it should fit should be yours and it should be more than enough because you indeed are the prettiest girl in the world.

This article is so true and so good. I really loved it a lot. I have faced the same things, there was a list made in my school and I was not in it and I changed myself completely to be in that list. I got tattoos, I started vaping, hanging out with cool kids. Though I was added in the hot girls list but tbh it was not worth it.
This is so true
