Have you ever been in love with someone, I know, love is a very complicated feeling. You might end up falling in love with someone, even when you don’t want to. But there might be a possibility that the other person did not have the same feelings, and it all ends up becoming a mess and you are no longer friends anymore, this poem depicts the same thing, I hope you will like it.
POEM
The words I choose are not always right,
Because in the end, they always start a fight.
I wish if there was a way,
I promise I would have done everything to make you stay.
I don’t know what you think and I don’t care,
Because losing you was my one and only fear.
Why do all great things come to an end?
Maybe because I never thought like if I were a friend.
You said, people say something but end up proposing you, right?
I became the same because with my feelings I couldn’t fight.
I don’t understand why there’s pressure inside,
But the pain that comes from it brings tears to my eyes.
You gave me a lot of chances but I wasted them oh!
And I came back to you with the sound of woe.
You are my happiest inspiration to think about and write,
And I wonder if a new day would ever come where things would be bright.
But I know, you want me to learn to forget,
Practice, ignore and pretend as if nothing ever exist.
But for me its kind of impossible to do,
Because every time I close my eyes I have thoughts about you.
For now, I will try hard to forget about you and me,
Because if fate wanted us together we shall be.
If I were a robot and had to push a reset button for my heart,
I wouldn’t have, thinking there would still be a hope for a new start.
I don’t know if there will ever be a new bright day.
But forever in my heart, you will stay.
