I am writing this article because I feel like most of us have forgotten the true meaning of humanity, we all have our focus on what we don’t have instead of what we have and that is the reason most of us are depressed about our lives. I saw that a lot of people have committed suicide during the past few days and when I saw the data on suicide, there are so many people dying of suicide on a daily basis.
You might be wondering what am I trying to say because suicide is in no way related to Gratitude, but consider this when we focus on what we don’t have, we tend to seek and look for things that we want and if we are unable to accomplish them we lose our cool and we get depressed, which is the number one reason for suicide.
People having big businesses and enterprises are also committing suicide because they were unable to earn money during the period of Covid-19. It was not just the depression that they were going through, it was the lack of gratitude which made them move towards committing suicide.
When a person has two hands, two legs and a brain i.e. to say when a person is normal, he or she could do wonders, but that is only possible when a person has gratitude when he loves what he has because he could only see through the possibilities when he is satisfied with what he has otherwise his mind would wander towards things that he desires and in that process, he will surely lose himself.
Now the question is how can someone be grateful? This is a genuine question that someone may ask because when we see around us we see people who are more fulfilled than us who are already living a better life and that makes us contemplate over our lives, and we feel a longing for those things as well and we become ungrateful for what we have. The easiest thing to do here is that one should see the people who are not as good as one is and then think about how he could help those people and give them a better life. This way the person will not only become grateful for what he has but also he will have a thinking brain which will give him ideas and show him possibilities to do better for him and others.
Its already past my sleeping time and I wrote this article on hurry I don’t know what I’ve written but I am grateful to everyone who will be reading this. To conclude, being grateful or having gratitude is not something that we should read about but we all should follow it because we as humans should have that basic love for us and for others.
